"The Portolan Group has helped us clarify those strategies that we feel we need to pursue to stay in the lead of 'fiscal responsibility' and 'performance efficiency' for our food service division,"say Wayne Grasela, newly appointed Food Service Director.

The Portolan Group looks forward to a second phase of involvement with SDP. Terry Burgess, Executive Vice President of The Portolan Group states "We are very pleased to continue our relationship with SDP into the future. SDP is making significant gains in the operations of their support services. We are pleased to play a small part in that improvement."

Phil Stover, founder and president of The Portolan Group said, “We are very proud to have grown in just a few short years from a one-person company to now having the privilege of serving America’s largest districts.”

The staff of The Portolan Group looks forward to further collaborative efforts with SDP. The purpose of the assessment was to provide recommendations and implementation strategies for increased effectiveness and efficiency for the district’s food service division.
