THE PORTOLAN GROUP EXPANDS AGAIN AS THEY OPEN A REGIONAL OFFICE IN OHIO

Phil Stover, president of The Portolan Group is pleased to announce the opening of a new regional office in Ohio. The year 2003 has brought more growth to the company, along with the necessity of an office to serve the Northeast, North Central and Midwest U.S. The Ohio office is The Portolan Group’s third office location, having opened an office in Columbus, GA in 2002 and being headquartered in Sarasota, FL.

“We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Quinn as Vice President,” Mr. Stover, said. “Rick will be in charge of the Ohio office. He will be responsible for the company growth and operations in that area. Rick has specific expertise in the management of K-12 school lunch and facilities management programs. Having served districts in New England, New York and Pennsylvania, it is imperative we have an office out of which we can adequately serve this growth market and all of the states in the Midwest.”

Since its founding in 2000, The Portolan Group has steadily grown. The Portolan Group has now conducted food service, facilities management and transportation service studies for school districts and colleges from New Hampshire to California. School districts ranging in size from two schools to the nations fourth largest (Miami-Dade) have benefited from its services.
